Learn to Take the Good with the Bad

December 11, 2012 by Tamara Leave a Comment

Life is made up of hills and valleys so we have to learn to take the good with the bad. We know with a fair amount of certainty that the future will bring us both fortune and frustration. This knowledge makes it that much more important that we learn to take the good with the bad. In fact, our ability to see our way through the bad times is what makes the good times that much sweeter,  because we can appreciate the journey.

If we put our challenges so far in our rear view mirror, we are filled with even greater disappointment when they come back around. If we can re-frame our expectations and accept that life comes with disappointments, we are better equipped to to deal with them when they happen. The real challenge is to learn from the bad, and know that the good things that come in life are from making our way through the challenges.
