It has made it easier to communicate across the globe, and has also provided the opportunity to improve the way we do business. The Internet offers new tools and resources to network, market, generate leads, and expand how we deliver our products and services to our clients.
Innovation inspires creativity, growth, and advancement so as professionals in the intercultural field, it is necessary to adapt and adjust with technology to build our business. We can more effectively reach out and meet the growing demands of the 21st century client by using technology strategically to build an online presence.
In this session, the speakers will share how to use social media networks like Twitter, and LinkedIn to build an online presence, and how to use the Internet to further engage and involve their customer/client. Knowing the ins and outs of these tools and resources will give participants stronger online presence to help grow their businesses exponentially. Tamara and Julie will lead this session in an interactive, nuts and bolts fashion, giving participants tools that they can apply immediately.
Tamara Thorpe, MA, is the leadership trainer for Millennial professionals. She provides training to the next great generation of leaders. Tamara is passionate about empowering youth to be leaders and active global citizens; she is the author of “Youth Learning from the World, Leading in their Communities”.
Dr. Julie Parenteau is President of Global Perceptions in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Julie engages in corporate and individual relocation programs, language lessons, and communication workshops that assist families and individuals navigate new cultures.
