Experiential learning, or hands-on learning, has become more common place in both traditional and non-traditional learning environments. It’s an approach that puts the learner at the center of the experience and emphasizes personal growth and development. In this training session participants will be presented with David Kolb’s Experiential Learning Theory (ELT) and introduced to Kolb’s Learning Style Inventory (LSI), easy and readily accessible frameworks for training (instructional) design.
Participants will learn how to use ELT and LSI to:
- Set training objectives,
- Design trainings and exercises, and
- Deliver activities that meet the diverse learning styles of an audience.
This training session is for novice and experienced facilitators and group leaders. Get the tools and confidence you need to be an effective and successful trainer.
